The First Bath

I had my first bath since my ATR, I know I am really lucky as I am only 3 weeks 3 days post op. My surgeon fitted me with a boot after 2 weeks post op. I am not really a ‘bath’ person as I mainly have showers.

But this bath was sheer bliss…………and the ankle area felt so much better after.

    This is my second week post op the pain not to bad but the problems you have with taking a bath are just to much . the boredom also when you slow down this much when active so much

    Baths are great - get your mates to bring you nice ubble bath and bathmilk and maybe some candles and you can just take 5 min to enjoy life in a more ‘normal’ state again, it will do wonders for your moral!
