I’m a 37 year old woman with a really bad track record of getting hurt in the most ridiculous ways. Luckily I have an amazing and hysterical husband and two beautiful daughters (9 and 14 months) who tolerate me and the black cloud that seems to follow me…. I don’t think my husband realized that he was marrying the female version of Evel Knievel, but thank god he has the patience of a saint and a really good sense of humor!
At least I have my beautiful girls, Kyra and Kennedy to keep my spirits up….and thank you so much Kate for taking such good care of me while Josh is at work!! Hugs and kisses to you all!!

And, you and your family will certainly need a sense of humour.
Good luck with your progress, remember to rest, elevate and ice, all very very important and really do speed up recovery.

I know what you mean about that cloud. I tell my daughter I passed on a klutz gene to her. I’m using her crutches- she tore out her R knee in taekwondo and had her R wrist reamed by an idiot in one of the classes. So she ended up on crutches & with her wrist in a cast. Guess we should consider ourselves fortunate we’ve just one leg goofed up. I haven’t had to take any rides in an ambulance though. You keep up your spirits as well as that leg!
Heather, Josh filled me in today. YIKES!!! You are very lucky to have such a great support network. I am thinking about you! Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help! Now that I’m home on the weekends, I would be more available to take Kyra or on Mondays too!

hiya a busy mum & fun lover too- i did mine 31/08- now at week 7-us ladies seem to me in the minority with this- i had my incident dancing to mamma mia !!- still learning to blog etc try email anytime ajtvet@aol.com
