Finally… I have surgery

After 3 weeks I will finally have surgery on my achilles tendon tomorrow morning. Hopefully this long delay will not hinder the recovery of my injury. I am really looking forward to begin on the road to recovery!!!

Hey there. I had to wait one week for surgery. I’ve read, and my doctor’s told me this also..that whether one week or 3 weeks, makes no difference in recovery. They said you wouldn’t want to wait a few mths…but no worries for you. You’ll be good as new in no time. Make sure you have percocet which will really let you sleep well the first few nights. Good luck!

Glad to hear that you’ve had surgery.
