Somewhat of an off-topic post (no AT pictures in this album), but here are some photos from my trip to Darwin last week. It’s so good to be on the mend and be able to get out and about.

    Hola FM
You’re in the worst of it right now, things should pick up quickly over the next few weeks as you get into a boot and weight bearing. Back when I was at 2-4 weeks, it seemed like time was standing still and nothing was happening, then suddenly it’s like “what, 10 weeks already??”!
Yeah it’s a long grind to get back to what’s “normal” (climbing, mountain biking etc for me, boxing for you), but I’m already doing what normal people would think was normal (beyond having a limp). How does the saying go? “Walk a mile in another man’s shoes, and you’re a mile away from him and have his shoes”? I’ve now finished the “disability” mile, and am partway through the “average joe” mile and have new respect for the lives of both (even if I don’t find their shoes so comfortable)!
