anyone just seen air ambulance documentry-one to make you think!

just wondering if any one in uk just watched the air rescue ambulance documentry & saw the guy paralysed from the neck down after motorbike crash, made me stop & think for a minute ! Feel quite fortunate at this moment in time.

Missed it live but just watched it on BBC iplayer. Poor lad cannot imagine how he must feel.

Just sold my motorbike and I think we all know the risks, but it never nice seeing that.
Sometimes you see someone else worse off and you come back to earth with a bump.
2 weeks before my cast removal I was following my wife around a garden centre on crutches looking miserable and bumped into a woman who was in a cast from her toes to her hip. She seemed pretty chirpy and asked what my cast situation was “2 weeks and can’t wait for it to come of. You?”, “I’ve got 4 months left, with no change of cast”.
To be fair I felt pretty stupid for letting it get me down afterwards.
