Hi, i ruptured mine on May 4. I have surgery on May 8. Very frustrated and mad, I am somehow hoping for a very fast recovery!!

Hi Zam. I am two days post surgery and feel your frustration. This site has been terrifically helpful in letting me know that lots of people are going through the same thing that I/we are going through. It may be a long and bumpy road but at least with this injury, it is most likely a full recovery. Plus the painkillers sure do help!
Stay strong and ask questions if you have ‘em. The folks here are great.

Hi Zam — I am one week today post surgery! Week one was tough but not as bad as I thought. Keep the leg elevated as much as you can, and I bet you will get through it just fine.
I see my doctor this am….not sure what to expect, but I think it will be post worthy, so check it out later.
Best of luck today with the surgery.

Zam - sorry to hear about your rupture..I am 9+ weeks post op and I can remember that feeling the day of surgery that it was going to take forever…we’ll life keeps moving fast, the days are slow, but the weeks fly by. Each week is a milestone and you’ll be here before you know it. Good luck with the surgery, let us know how it goes.
