Everything went well staff at priory Birmingham were excellent, had a lot of pain around 4.00am so they gave me a pain killer with morphine in which did the trick.
Physio showed me how to get up and down stairs with my crutches easy peasy.
Nice sunny day today so watching golf on tv just need to take the pain killers now for 2 days and rest then my cast will come of in 2 weeks
Recommend getting a good solid boot for your good foot when using crutches really helps .

Well what a beautiful day to go under the knife 80 degrees for the first time this year. Out of theatre now all has gone well so I have been told,feeling numb from the knee down a feeling as thou just below my knee is frozen no pain at all should be like this for 12 to 24hrs.The staff have been great so far just had a quick lesson on the old crutches not bad, learning how to use on stairs later.
Surgeon told me he has sent blood sample away to be tested ref gout so I’ll find out about that .

Well booked in for tomorrow at 7.00am which is a good time for me not much pain today and the gout I had in my toe has gone down. My daughter Mia is having fun in Paris with her school.Watching t v just booked my cab to the hospital. Not getting a lot of pain at all now but it’s got to be done.
Leah my 11 year old just got in from school of to football training now dad.lol
