Hi everyone - just to let you know where i’m at. I am now 6 weeks post op and all good cast off and in two shoes with 25mm wedges told I can fully weight bear and walk as tolerated. i can stand and weight bear on injured leg for 20 seconds and gradually building this up, tingling sensation in heel at first which slowly disappears. Managed to walk very very gingerly as huge pulling pain in ankle so taking very steady and stop when I feel too much pain. Eventually managed 5/6 steps flat footed as heel toe not possible too soon I feel, determined not too push it and be patient. Physio on Thursday where I hope to have many questions answered.
