man that’s the same thing that happened to me. trust when i say that time will fly, but be patient in regards to trying to play again. i’m 22 weeks post op with a lot of scar tissue and limited mobility. i’m dying to play, but need to get healthy first. my tip to you: when it’s time to get a physical therapist ASK for the most experienced and aggressive one they have!
I was doing the same thing. POP and down. I’m 9 weeks post op and finally walking, but its a long way back to the Court. Hang in there. No matter what happens December 22nd will be one of the best days of your life.
Love the pictures!
Wish I had the idea to take action pictures.
I’m week 9 as well and have to pinch myself sometimes as I can stand up on tow feet!
I did my on the same leg playing basketball only I was going for a rebound (Which I grabbed by the way) and then there was that dreaded kick to my ankle. I did mine about 2 weeks before you did but I couldn’t have the surgery until November 27. I am now in physical therapy 3 times a week beginning to do more strengthening exercises and I hope to be back to work by the end of February. Keep healing because that is all we can do.
How is PT I start tomorrow morning

PT is coming fine. You will notice a remarkable progression in your tendon so remember to take it seriously. My therapist really worked me today and now the tendon is a little sore but the soreness will go away. I actually started my PT in my fourth week post-op. Just remember to do the therapy at home in addition to the sessions. Peace
