A Texas gal tracking her ATR

I’ve written a post 5 times today….and every time I publish it and then go back to edit it…and update…the post is gone.

Guess I’ll go do my exercises and try again later….

Infuriating! (And for us readers, too!)
I HOPE you switched to a word-processor to do the writing, then copy-and-paste into the browser field. It’s been a while since I started a new blog page, so I don’t even remember which button is which. . . “Publish”? Definitely not “Preview”. Not sure about “Save”. . . Sorry.

It should automatically save the ppsot as a draft that can be accessed from the post section of your dashboard. But I would do what Norm says and type it in a work processor. :)

Thanks for the advice Norm and Kirk…unfortunately I tried using the word processor first….copied it over just fine and as soon as I hit publish….it said it was published and when I went to view, it was gone. I can’t imagine that it has to do with me adding pictures because I’ve added pictures before and it worked just fine. And it took my short little blurb of Grrrr…it took just fine. I am going to try one more time. It was a long post and I’ve typed it so many times I want to take my boot off my foot and throw it at my computer….hopefully you’ll see it soon.

How ’bout taking your word-processed text, without the photos, paste it in and “publish” it, then check that it’s really “there”. And THEN edit it to insert the photos, maybe one at a time? Even if one of the steps fails, you shouldn’t lose what you’ve already published. . .
