So it’s day 3 and we’ve just removed the catheter to the nerve blocker/pain pump. When the anesthesiologist called this morning, he said to make sure we see the small blue dot at the end of the line that was inserted into my thigh to make sure we got the whole line out. [...]

Got up having slept comfortably all night….got up and forgot to do my mantra…in fact forgot it until this afternoon.  The first day was pretty uneventful except for getting around. So I’m feeling pretty chipper on the way to the surgery center…a little nervous, but glad for my decision to get the problem (tears, bursa, heel spur) fixed so that eventually I can get back to my full workout program. Well somehow I lost my post….too tired to rewrite it tonight and need to hit the hay….tomorrow’s “fix it” day.  Ate my last snack and had my last drink of water until sometime tomorrow afternoon.  I’ll write more in the morning….Got to be at the Surgery Center by 11:00   Good Night
