Six-weeks and going with the boot

Posted by suthrnman in Journal

The doc was planning on putting another cast on today . . . six weeks this Wednesday since surgery to shorten tendon.  However, I showed him the vacoped and he liked it.  So, now I am at 2 cm and able to at least take off boot and flex ankle everyday–progress.  pak

A BIG step forward - congrats! Enjoy the boot. It is pretty liberating.

Wow what an insane turn of events you have overcome. Just tore mine playing badminton on October 5. Going the non-surgery route. Hope you update soon as I have bookmarked your blog! Best wishes.
