Well . . . I did it. I had the surgery to correct the elongated and split tendon. All seemed to go well. I am in a cast for at least two weeks.
I have some great photos, but I still can’t get them to show up in post.

Sorry you had the need for another surgery. It looks like you have had some bad luck all around from this injury. I wish you the best in this next recovery.

So sorry about the turn of events. I do hope you I like Cole do wish you the best.
I ruptured a little over 2 weeks ago and chose the non-op route. My doctor said his concern for me I would heal long, so now I think I will catch up on your former posts.
Take Care.

I went non op twice in a row given the re-rupture. The doc believes I made good choices going non op but just suffered bad consequences given the re-rupture; thus, the surgery now. I wish you well on healing. As you’ll see reading my previous post, I have had a good year and half, but just felt it was too weak for long term.

I’m still in this I could be “superhuman” mode. I’m not sure why. While I hate my first day in a cast. Hate it. I don’t think i can fully appreciate what I’m in for until the cast come off.
Anyway, we are all rooting for you, so keep up the good results. Keep posting your progress.
Take Care xx
