There is nothing wrong with my tendon. My surgery was to remove the retrocalcaneal bursitis and bony growth. No tendon involvement. I called him about it and he said it was fine to take ibuprofen as long as there was no tendon violation.</description>

		<description>I wad told by my surgeon that Ibuprofin was a big no no.  Anti inflamatories interfere with the healing of the tendon.  He did not clear me to start using Ibuprofin until I was 4 weeks post op, and then only sparingly.  You might want to call your Dr and ask about it.</description>
