I took a look back through my injury journal and on May 7th I wrote, “I did something today that I haven’t done in over a month. I put my left foot flat on the floor while sitting on the couch. I was even able to raise the heel up about 2 inches. I tried doing a calf raise with a 5 pound exercise ball on my knee & couldn’t get it off the floor. I gotta remember that progress is going to be measured in small steps.”
That was three months ago and yesterday I ran/walked 2 miles in the morning and kickboxing in the evening.
I can’t wait to see what the next three months bring.
