May 12, 2016, had my first physical therapy session. pretty scary, which is what I expected, but its the first step in my road back to normalcy, so one day at a time. My VACO boot has now been adjusted to 0° with the flat wedge on the bottom per my Dr.’s directive. I can definitely feel the tension in the Achilles and heel areas similar to what I felt when I went from 30° down to 15°. In a day or so I will be used to it. Next Friday I go down to a dansko clog. The prospect of no boot is particularly frightening to me. not sure what to expect. I cant imagine im just going to get up and walk normally, but we’ll see what happens.
