9 Days after Surgery

I am now, nine days post surgery! All of the pain is gone, but this still SUCKS!!!! I hate not being able to do simple task without having to grab those dumb crutches and hobble around the house. On another note, I get to go back to the doctors and get my staples out on Monday, hopefully I will be able to have pictures of that :-)

So I am out until after monday!!!

    The crutch stage is the absolute worst. This too shall pass, and once you’re out of those *%^$ing things, it’s all gravy. I promise. Chin up!!!

    We have all been there, definitely a pain but a necessary evil. Slow, steady and educated leads to a full recovery.

    Scooby youre in the height of the storm right now…hang in there…everyday it gets appreciably better. When you get the boot you go pwb then you will quickly ditch those crutches! Keep your chin up.

    Ditto the above comments … it definately starts getting easier once you grit you teeth through these early days. Treat the crutches like a sports challenge: make yourself master them and set little goals to acheive. Once you can cruise around easily with the sticks things start feeling more manageable!
