PT and Dopamine

First PT visit Monday.

My stats:

Left mid calf 34 cm Right 37
Dorsal flex ion 5 plantar 65
In 28 out 12

PT seemed a bit worried that dorsal was too flexed. Does anyone know?

I was at a meditation retreat at Esalen last week near Big Sur. lots of boot hiking and hot spring soaking.

I learned that our brains produce dopamine, boosting well being, when we encounter and obstacle and push through. Keep on keepin on!

    My DF was 0 degrees on the bad foot and +15 on the good. What was the DF on your good foot? Seems like yours is in the right range and close neutral. Could be your ROM is just better at this point–maybe less scar tissue than some of us. Did you feel the scar tissue breaking when they pushed on your foot to measure? Yikes, I did!

    Your retreat sounds awesome. I’m a little envious. My only retreat these days is in my sleep. Keep working that dopamine :) Great to hear from you.

    How did you go hiking??!!

    I’m about three weeks post surgery. I’ve been CFing for years. I’ve been modifying my WODs and using the Gymnastic WOD a lot. I did a whopping 700m row this morning. Lol.

    I just wanted to compare training notes and wish you well.

    Kellygirl, thanks for ur encouragement. I do not seem to have that much scar tissue. I have OS Monday and PT Tuesday. Will keep you posted.
