Rome24,
i want to address one comment, and I am quote you here because this is a major problem for me:
"And on my good leg, I’m suffering from tender right achilles. Which I’m sure is from overusage during the early stages of my recovery process"
My rigth tendon (good one) has been in constant pain and the doctor told me it is due to the long period on PWB. I had also had some pain prior to the rupture, so it became what's called achilles tendinopathy and it is a chronic condition.
The doc recommended heel raises with eccentric contraction, basically you go up on both feet, but come down on the right one. This is followed by stretch and hold for 30 seconds, then massage, then ice. Honestly, I cannot say I am pain free yet, but I noticed the pain is less severe. You still have to wait to do your heel raises, but you could do the massage, stretching and icing. As a more aggressive solution, the doc suggested PRP treatment which is not 100% guaranteed but helps with healing. Good luck with your healing.
