4 Years - Move on nothing to see here !!
Hello all,
4 years done. Ankle still has some residual stiffness but not too bad. Doc reckons it’s a bit arthritic and it won’t go away. Apart from that walking, golf, bike riding, watching Leeds United are all going well. Still in touch with a few off line achilles victims which is nice and I do check in from time to time on the board.
So all the best everyone - it’s a bloody nightmare injury treat it as a character building exercise. Make the most of the chance to have a long sit down and assess your life. I did and decided to carry on just as I did before HAHA.
Cheers all, see you in a year.
Richard.

I love it Richard! Sure is a character builder! HA! I was on a holiday at my 100 day post surgery date. On the road trip I took my calander out and counted 267 charted work out days in my daytimer DEC. 2011 to Oct 5 2011 my injury date That is a mix of XFit, Gym, running, spin etc. 267 charted! There are many I did not chart. So I re-assesed my life right then and there. I guess my torn, ripped ruptured achiles could have had alot of overuse! I have made myself enjoy this down time, though I have remained active. I’d say I have cut my workouts to 2/3’s of what I was doing. I gained about 7 pounds, not worried about the added weight. It is coming off as I pick up the pace. Every chance ya get slow down a little bit everyone.

Richard, these once a year emails will have to stop.
Did you take note of my email to you the other day? And Jimbo and I are entitled to our Premiership chats, perhaps one day you can join us.
Had an email the other day from Smish she is doing OK.
Think I’m still the oldest blogger though, long live Dennis!!
