Another month
Hello all,
I am here to update you on how things are going with the recovery and all. I went to the doctor on Monday (Feb 28th), and the good news is that everything is still healing well and smoothly. He doesn’t foresee any problems coming up as long as I keep obeying his orders concerning recovery. Now the not so fun news. He told me because it is still healing, and also to be on the safe side - I will have to stay in the boot and night splint for another month…so I go back and see him in three weeks.
However, in terms of walking I am getting better. I see the doctor this coming Monday the 21st. So, I hope that he will say that I am done with this boot and splint and into normal shoes and such. The thing I am looking forward to is sleeping with nothing on my leg! So, that is the update…and I will let you know how it goes this Monday

Ah Rebekah good to hear from you!! It sounds like your doc is wrapping you in cotton wool - prob because yours wasn’t run-of-the-mill??? Anyway, glad to hear things are progressing well fingers crossed you get out of the boot on 21st. Praying for you xx
