First PT session

So I had My first PT session on Wed 1/13. It went well. Got some massage and started building strength in my ankle/ Calf with the rubber tension bands… doing 5 sessions a day with the bands. Calf still looks crypt-keeper though. Trying to make sure I don’t overdo it, just amped to get out and active again. I noticed a bit of soreness in the outside of my ankle but its attributed to lack of use. Tendon area feels good. I am also riding the exercise bike working up a sweat again. I missed that. I pretty much abandon the boot once I get home in the evening. My next visit with the doc is on 2/10 to get the official work to abandon the boot.

  1. Doesn’t that feel weird when they massage right along the incision? It hurts and yet it feels great. Today was the first time I rode the bike without my boot on- felt strange. I wanted to do all my other exercises without the boot, but when I asked my PT she said not yet.
