So, during a trip to the Mayo in Rochester for my wife, I went to the desk that handles my own doctor for my Achilles to see if my doctor was…..to put it bluntly…still there. I had not heard anything since the boot went on exactly 5 weeks ago.

So…silly question really, but is the bump on my torn achilles ever going to go away, or am i waiting for something to happen thats not going to?
Also, with a 50% tear of the tendon, and being able to stand pretty good on both legs, should my doctor be giving me PT work, or so [...]

So after just two weeks in a boot, its a wierd feeling when I take it off at night now, obviously my muscles are adjusting to use the boot instead of my lower leg muscles. Its as if my leg went to sleep, but I still feel it, the strength is falling away pretty quickly. [...]
