    Old Guy –

    Sounds like we share the same infection detour and timing. I’m glad that the infection is behind you now and that you can concentrate on your tendon. I too was rejecting the suture material and had the ensuing infections that had me on intravenous antibiotics for two months. I finally had a second surgery to debride my tendon and all that holds me together now is scar tissue.

    It has made all the difference and am now slowly resuming my physical activities that suddenly ended seven months ago. I also started my PT sessions today. Hang in there, and I hope you feel stronger every day.
