Calf definition

Nearly 13 weeks and physio gave me the all clear to go on a cross trainer. I had looked at these but felt that perhaps not quite yet. I am still really tight at the back of the calf. But she was right. All good.
Then I caught site of the back of my calf in one of the mirrors in the gym when I was doing 2 heel raises.
I was pretty impressed until I realised that I was looking at the wrong calf!

Nicky,
Hopefully won’t be a problem for me.
I’m now 2.5 weeks post surgery following my SECOND ATR. This one on the other side!!
Should match-up my calfs just fine I think lol

Yeah, it takes a little while to get that definition back. I’ve heard you need to do calf strengthening for about 18 months to get the size the same as the other leg. Once you get to 8-9 months though the difference won’t be very noticeable unless you really look. Happy healing!
