So it’s now four whole days in two shoes. Feels good but you quickly realise just how much more there is to do recovery wise!
Enjoying getting around, able to walk slowly without a real limp. As soon as I try to pick up the pace however the limp is there.

Another consultation with my orthopaedic surgeon this morning.
The AirCast boot has gone and I’m back in two shoes for the first time since 15 April! Consultant doesn’t want to see me for another two months. He’s pleased with scar, ROM, etc. So now the physio can be a little more interesting!

Not much to say, accustomed to life with the boot. Now back in the office each day, enjoying the company, haven’t had a day or two working from home for over a week now. Commuting in and out of London does prove challenging some days.

Down to just one heel lift (10°) in the boot as of today. Feels nice and comfortable. Range of movement in the ankle is good. Swelling has reduced. Only complaint is the boot is so warm with the hot weather we’re having at the moment

Have been working from home since the op, so decided to go into the office today as fed up of spending majority of the day on the phone and looking at the same four walls
