Moostax - thats me,
A “forty something” engineer and latent/retired “athlete” it looks like 20+ years of competative cycling and contact sports has finally now caught up with me!
So for now it’s “one step at a time”

Hi moostax another Liverpool inhabitant I see. Welcome to the world of ATR hope your recovery is a speedy and pain free one. This cold weather we’re having isn’t helping much though!!!
Hi there, Yeah you’re right this weather is awful! I was looking forward to at least getting out for the first time this week now that throbing feeling has gone away but don’t want to risk it now with the ice. How the weather where you are? it’s strange here we have no snow but literally two miles down the road it’s covered.
We’ve had a little flurry today but nothing to speak of, but it’s flipping cold. Also the pavements are like glass doesn’t make you feel like venturing out.
We have 8 inches of snow ( I’m near Gatwick airport) and daytime temperatures of -5. haven’t been out since Tuesday. So much for practising driving before work on Monday!
I’m scared of going out and slipping, but supplies are running lows I will have to risk it tomorrow.
All I can say is be patient and wait it out, this recovery is such a long haul that it’s not worth risking a setback.
