Wobble board

January 23, 2012 | |

I see my doctor next Monday but this morning my PT decided to see how I would do on the wobble board - standing on the wobble board, not sitting and just moving my foot around like I have been. I made it without pain. I also did a set of squats with the balance ball against the wall.  Those hurt a little. It feels like progress.

I have been carefully walking around the house out of the boot.  Not far, but trying to walk a bit. So far it is going well.

I started standing on the wobble board on Thursday…it didn’t feel good. After a couple of moments it got better and I was able to stand with better posture–I did have to hold onto something the whole time, but got so my knuckles weren’t white.

Congrats on leaving the boot behind a bit–it feels good to be out of it, doesn’t it? I do find when I first stand after sitting for any period of time that my foot is a little sore, and my first steps are small and awkward…

Looking forward to good news after your doctor visit Monday!

people started betting on other absurd things like when the Queen would abdicate and who would be the next king/queen. As of now, there are new bets on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s life.
