Bump on back of feet

Hi All,
I am post-Achilles tear well over a year now.
My injury occurred in September 2017.
I have gone through physio and been told that everything is all good.
However, I still experience stiffness and there is a noticeable bump where the injury occurred.
Just wondering if anyone knows if this goes away?
Does it take a couple of years?
