ONE…..TWO!

Posted on May 28, 2009.

Two Shoes! No more boot. I’ve been sorta on two shoes for the past week, but I wore the boot to work and church.

The doctor said everything looked well. He liked that I still had some definition to my tendon, he said he didn’t see that much. He attributed to keeping the swelling down, mostly through elevation and compression. It also seemed to help with the scar tissue formation, which is pretty minimal.

PT is going very well. It feels good to ride the bike, lift some weights and continue to strengthen. Just taking it slow.

Things are, for the most part back to normal. So for those that are just starting, 8 weeks or so is a good mark. I can drive, get around stores and get my own breakfast. Nice.

I’m glad to hear that you’re getting better. That must have been one nasty injury.
