3 Weeks Post OP- Stictches-Swelling
Still have some swelling and have 1/2 the stitches in to hold it together. 1 More week and I can start to try and walk a little w the boot. My right side of the ankle is still swollen and tender, same as it was before this second surgery I’m hoping this will get better. Ever since the first surgery in Feb to remove the bone spur I have had the swelling on the right side of ankle? Time will tell I’m hoping for the best.

It must be great to have your cast off! I get mine off Monday. If I may, I suggest you look into “Medihoney” for your incisions to help in the healing process. I used it for my ankle #1 and it healed up quickly and without issue. I got mine on Amazon for ~22.00 and applied it once a day.
What did they do on the side of your foot? I understand the incision on the back, but the side? Just curious. Oh, I have been following “beachy12″ on this website-she too has to have a second surgery on her achilles…you should check out her posts–someone you can relate to with the second surgery situation.

I hade the tendon transfer from the big toe so they did the debridement on the Achilles also took a little more bone off the. Added tendon to the chilled to make it stronger
