Mandy,
Thanks for putting up your pic’s on Flickr. It is so easy to upload them there, isn’t it? Here is my site which I changed to “public” tonight. I will be adding more in the next few days…..keep up the great work everybody!
Best of luck to RICHARD tomorrow. We will be thinking of you.
I saw my Doc today for my 8 week check up and didn’t have my boot on. He was ok with me wearing two shoes and wants to see me again in 2 months, with no new orders.
(NO tennis for six months)

That’s awesome, thanks for sharing. Do you have them in higher res? I’d love to zoom in on the tendon.
Great pictures, I noticed they cut you right down the back of the heel, i was cut to the side.
Wow, what fantastic pictures, really make us appreciate the skills of our surgeons, how do they do that!!!
Great to see what we have had done.
Hope all is well
Annie
Thanks for sharing the pictures! They’re fantistic while churning my stomach at the same time. I guess that’s why they knock you out during the process.
I’m curious as to who is taking the pics and how did you get them? Is it a nurse or someone who was with you? They’re great regardless, and I thought looking at my wound made me squirmish! It’s fun to see it from the perspective of the surgeon.
Good Luck,
Keith
I am still trying to figure out how to post the pictures on here. you can actually see the stitches - its quite remarkable.
Right before I was taken into surgery, I whipped out my camera and asked them (the assistant) to take some pictures - and they laughed at first and said they were more than happy too.
That’s a great idea. Wished I had done that. My incision is more on the outside of my ankle. Thanks for sharing the pics!
OMG, those are amazing. The timing is excellent; I’m only now ready to look and it’s been almost 20 weeks. I sincerely wish you a safe, speedy recovery. And thank you for sharing. My ATR is on the same foot. My surgeon explained what was done, but I was too bummed out to care at the time. Your photos brought me full circle; I am recovering and can now appreciate the work that was done.
Wish I’d thought of that! Thanks for sharing.
