I have been well looked after by my local NHS, some really good care, I must say, sure a few bumps in the system along the way, but I am still happy with the people and professionals who have been caring for me. Ambulance staff are quite amazing from the first day, the A&E staff, well I don’t know how they do it. The Fellow motorcyclist anaesthetist (KH500 I think) Who held me down, with leg twitching, we still talked bikes, as you do, my Surgeon with a passion for what he does, my calming Consultants, quite brilliantly helpful registrars, Orthopaedic technicians with saws and compassion to my bag of nerves.
I have come across some real stars, If I named you all, It would be a very long list.
Should any of you read this, thank you. And thanks to all the rest as well.
One day, I will walk again, but for now, another cup of tea will be great.
