8 months post op and numbness

I am 8 months post op insertional achilles tendonitis surgery. I have been doing great, but in the last two weeks my heel has started feeling numb. It feels like I am walking on a lopsided pad. I am pretty sure it is a nerve being punched or something like that. It is not painful, just uncomfortable. Has anyone had this feeling? Thanks!

  1. I had no problems like that but I had a very different surgery. I had some nerve pain much earlier in the healing process and it was a nerve that runs under the ankle. My doc said it is just one of those nerves that gets a bit abused during the surgery so it takes a while to calm down.
