Hello world!

April 28th, 2008

Hi guys,

My ATR happened around 1840hrs on Wed 20 February during a game of 5 a side football (soccer). We had been playing for around 35 minutes and I went to pass the ball with my right foot when i heard the tell tale pop coming from my left leg, at first I thought someone had shot me with an air pistol. I stopped playing straight away and returned to my car where i had great difficulty getting the clutch down and into gear to get out of the car park. When i returned home my wife called NHS 24(doctor service), who advised to get down to the local hospital where they would arrange for me to be examined and assessed. At around 2040hrs I was diagnosed has having a full ATR and was being casted until an appointment could be made with the Ortho clinic. I was given an appointment for the next morning with Mr White and his clinic at which time he advised that the diagnosis from the previous evening was correct and that he was going to replaster my leg and continue with this treatment for the next 10 weeks and to retunr in 4 weeks when he would reposition my foot and recast again.
