A game for old men?
Quick edit of the standard post.
Live in the UK (Guildford Area).
Full ATR right leg playing squash 18th March 2009, well into the game (2-0 and 8-4 up in the 3rd match ball!) and just went bang!
Operation to repair 19th March, returned home 20th, cast below knee.
6th April cast removed, wound OK now in das boot.
No pain, apart from night after surgery.
Disappointed with information given at hospital appointment yesterday, basically had to tell them to give me the boot (rather than re-cast) and then told I really can’t do anything other than PWB for next 6 weeks.
Well aware of the risks of re-rupture, but “standard” approach seems way too conservative.
Will follow-up when I have more time with lots of questions, interesting to read:

also interested in when I could potentially start swimming (with pull buoy), Dr said “no way” yesterday!
