The Cast
Waking up from surgery was hard enough. Not being able to move your right leg even worse. Seeing the massive cast on my leg, well that just took the cake. I must have had some serious swelling because by Saturday morning I could my slide my hands down the top the cast. Hands all the way up to my wrist. Needless to say I called on Monday (the on-call service doctor told me he doesn’t cast patients for this surgery). and was told come on in for a new cast.
The new cast fits much better but I miss the freedom of movement I had from the old one! A week later I’ll get my third cast. Yay me!
