Road to Recovery

Today my pain subsided a lot.  If yesterday was a 9, today was a 3.  It basically felt like it did before surgery, only a little bit sharper.  I was able to get off the pain medicine (Nocor) by 700 a.m.  and that helped because the side effects made me dizzy and out of breath whenever I got out of bed.  I took a couple of tylenol at 430 p.m. and then again before bed. 

I did move around a little today which helped.  Of course, whenever you stop elevating the blood rushes down your leg and there is some pain but it is bearable.  Overall, this was a good day.

LESSON LEARNED - Make sure to research side effects of the pain medication they give you.
