Who wants to buy this for me?

I used it in PT today and it was so much fun! He set the timer for 5 minutes and I was so sad when my timer went off - so I just kept going. I really need one of these at home. If only I had $700 just lying around begging to be spent. Also did some ladder hops today. This was in addition to the other stuff I’ve been doing for the past 7 or so weeks. It made me feel like I am progressing and getting back to my athletic self. The challenge will be continuing to do strengthening stuff on my own, as I only have PT one day a week now. I am going to have to put it into list form and make an “appointment” with myself to get it done, or there’s a good chance I’ll blow it off.

Well, that looks like tons of fun! Too bad it’s so expensive. I hope my PT office has that….

Sounds like you are doing good! Keep up the good work.

And here I thought this was going to be about the AlterG! The Fitter Pro is popular enough that it shows up at yard sales and eBay and sometimes kijiji or craigslist.

And gizmos like give a similar workout for much less $.

For a few bucks MORE I invested decades ago in a Skier’s Edge, which also gives a similar skiing-like workout. Unfortunately, mine gets “typical home exercise machine use” — despite the fact that I ski Whistler aggressively for 6 days in a row twice a year, typically with no skiing at all in-between. I.e., I really SHOULD give it frequent workouts. . .

Nice find, Norm! I have been (and will continue to be) trolling ebay and Craigslist. The link you posted looks cool, but may be a little higher degree of difficulty for me. Wonder who autographed it, though… maybe it’s worth way more than $80?

If I still can’t get this thing out of my mind by the time I sell my house, maybe I’ll treat myself with a little of the proceeds. Looks like a fun workout for winter, when walking can be miserable.
