Michelle, thanks for the picks. I can’t believe they leave people’s toes out like that! Your incision’s lookin’ purty good, there. How long are you in the purple monster?

Well, it’s been an interesting 13 days to say the least ! The dr was pleased with the healing. Said I jumped the first hurdle…LOL. I’ve got 4 weeks in this cast and then go back for either another cast or a CAM boot…

OOoh, that’s a nasty lookin incision. But GREAT photos! My niece would love to study your photos. She was so intrigued with mine. My surgeon used disolvable stitches and just patched me up with steri-strips which peel off easily. Love the purple cast. Were you given a selection of cast colors? That’s pretty cool.

Wayne…after they took the stitches out they did put steri-strips on it….you do get to choose colors…I wanted maroon for my Tx Aggies - WHOOP ! But, ended up going with purple to support the LSU Tigers who are going to beat U of Tx tonight in the College World Series… !!!!

Looking pretty good. I still have the LSU colored yellow/gold paint if you want polk-a-dots (our town’s theme anyway). Oh, I have the same gold in toenail polish…don’t go to sleep with me anywhere around during the show this weekend….hehehehe
