When was your ATR? Who diagnosed it ruptured? I used a general ortho, because he’s gotten to be a friend of the family after 3 active girls and their injuries. I knew he would do all he could to make it back right.. My 2nd choice would have been the Lake Charles Sports Medicine clinic and Dr. Drez. I saw you are on the other side of LA…there’s got to be good sports medicine type orthos around you. Talk to some of the sports trainers in your area….I asked my husband if he prayed to be a better servant…he’s sure getting a dose of servanthood now ! Good luck and God bless.

I know God has a plan…interesting to see who he will bring into your life through this experience.
I will have surgery on Achilles in next couple of weeks. Also wondering how God will use this (other than to bring some humility into my life).
Curious…did you use a general orthopedic surgeon or a foot and ankle specialist?
Live in Covington and having a hard time locating an orthopedic that has lots of experience with achilles.
