11.5 week update

April 2, 2013 | |

Been walking in two shoes for more than a week and still have a limp.  It’s a bit painful when I try to walk  with good form.  Limping makes the pain go away.

There is still a bulge where the surgery was done.  I’m going to get Graston a massage on my achilles area Wednesday….heard this helps.

My slight limp is still with me at 24 weeks whenever my leg starts to fatigue. Also, my Pt showed some simple deep tissue massage to help break up the scar tissue which helped my ROM and decrease my pain.

    Thanks kirk.

I got a Graston massage done yesterday. It felt a bit painful, but good pain…didn’t feel threatened during the session.

Today, a lot of the bumps are gone. I do notice that the area on and around my achilles is a lot smoother. I’m going back for another Graston session.

Are you doing any massage on the area at home?

I massage it with my hands every once in a while.
