1st View (12 days Post-Op)
I finally had my first cast removed today (12 days after surgery), and I saw the incisions for the first time. As you can see, my surgeon (Dr. Haider) made 6 fairly small incisions to make the repair. I had about 15 minutes of freedom before the second cast (fiberglass) went on. Enjoy the pics:
The original cast.
The cast comes off.
The new fiberglass cast goes on.
The sweet red colour choice.

Hoss,
Wow, these are great pictures!!! I can’t believe you went back to work only a few days after surgery and there appears to be no swelling or much bruising when they changed your cast. That’s really encouraging!!!!!
Also, I would like to add pics too, but don’t know how…..can you explain the process?
Thanks and congrats,
Marianne
Marianne,
Here is how to post pics or add pics to your post:
From the admin area, click on Write, then go to the Post box and to the right side of that box is a star icon beside Add Media. Click on that and a new box pops up where you can upload pics from your computer (From Computer - Choose Files to Upload).
Keep playing around with it and you will figure it out. Once the picture is uploaded you can drag the picture wherever you want.
