Had my 1st 2 PT appointments this week. Pretty mild. Did some laser, ultrasound & massage. Ah! That leg massage felt good! Also the usual exercises of slight stretching, foot circles, drawing ABCs etc. Today, they did mash on that Achilles and worked over the ankle to release some of the scar tissue building up. I did feel like I was walking better, I know it wasn’t as tight. Didn’t feel good at the time & I’m looking forward to the ice now. Rode on the exercise bike for 15 minutes & that felt good. She did say the only time I have to wear the boot is in crowds or if I’m walking lots! My leg feels so light when I get home from work & take off the boot! Woohoo! She wants to make sure to keep it safe & not risk rerupture. I appreciate that! I’d hate to start this all over!
