So here’s another one
Red Lodge Mountain got 17″ during the day on Tuesday so I told my nominal boss I would not be in yesterday and went to enjoy the fresh snow. It was a good day to get a sunburn. I was beat by 1:30 so I called it an epic day and headed home. Tomorrow and Saturday are my regular teaching days so I’ll be back up there for a couple more days. There’s a 50% chance of more snow starting tonight through Saturday. It looks like our season will once again end with a bang.

I enjoy the “oldies” soundtracks as much as the visuals!

I admit that I’m just an old rocker, actually a victim of adult onset adolescence.

Love your videos….LOL….you make it look sooooo easy. Love the music as well….that song is in my workout playlist. I still say I”d be better off going down on my butt…..and…if not….you’d need a ton of patience

I did spend last week at Whistler, and I did ski all 6 days, and with gusto. I also gave my tiny (cheap) “car remote videocam” a workout, stuck to my helmet with Velcro. I may have a minute or two of viewable skiing video to show for it, as well as a few minutes of static “travelog”, with me panning the horizon and chatting. (The camera looks just like the one at amzn.to/i94CeE .)
My raw sound (when the sound-recording didn’t mess up completely) was some introductory words from me before I started skiing, followed by DEAFENING wind noise as soon as I started blasting down the slope! Most of it was taken on Dave Murray Downhill, an unusually “friendly” single-diamond run on Whistler Mountain. It’s usually off-limits with race training until ~2:30 PM, but it was open all day almost every day this trip — maybe because Whistler has retired it as a Men’s Downhill race course, in favor of an adjacent run that’s a bit more shaded. Works for me, ’cause it’s one of my faves!
If I can get the time and the editing technology, I may post some videos here.
