Ran the Long Island Marathon on Sunday…

…so I thought you all would like to know!  Although I ran a “personal worst” time (4:11), I keep reminding myself that I will have to run a lot of “worst” times before I can get into shape again the way I would like….but at least the foot held up, although I felt it a bit during the race, and it was a bit sore afterwards…..but stretching seems to have helped it. 

So yes, there is life after Achilles surgery!  Happy Healing to All!

    Fantastic! And amazing that you are back to a marathon at 62 weeks. Sorry to hear that you had your personal worst, but I think that many of us would be thrilled to run one mile in 6 1/4 minutes, let alone 26.2 in a row! You must be part deer. Or Kenyan…

    Wow Wow Wow.
    I would be happy to walk at a fast speed for 4 hours…
