Treadmill Running, Revisited

Just a quick note to say that, although I had been avoiding treadmill running, because of our recent snowfall (i.e., BLIZZARD), I was back on the treadmill again today for a short 4-mile run. And luckily, I remembered george’s suggestion about elevation, so I set it at 1.0 instead of 0.0….and it seems to have helped!! So thanks for the advice, george — the power of others’ experiences strikes again…..

    Congrats on being back on the Treadmill.
    I keep hounding my PT to get me back up on one, but no such luck yet.

    Just remember..”Slow and Steady wins THIS race”.

    Let your partner know how you like to be appreciated. Say, “It means a lot”, to me when you notice the things I do for you.

    Ask your partner how they like to feel appreciated. Write a note or a card, or make an effort to say “thank you” often.

    Trying something new together can be a fun and exciting way to spend time together. You don’t have to do anything crazy — even going out to dinner at a new restaurant or trying a new cuisine can be a fun experience.
