Change in Plans

Well today, my toes turned purple and fat.  I was in a lot of pain, mostly around my ankle joint.  Call the Doc and they had me come on in.  It felt like something was choking my ankle by the time I got there, and when the cast came off, the ankle was really swollen and was causing the poor circulation in my foot and on into my toes.

The good news is that after making me make a few promises he put me into the boot cast rather than putting me back in the cast.  Dear Hubby was with me so he narc’d on me, said I wasn’t staying down much, and keeping the leg propped up like I should, so I had to promise to keep the foot up, not remove the boot, bear no weight, etc.  Which I did.

More on the boot later.
