   Hi ErieDutch Soccer Star,

   Before I post I need to know if U are a Bills fan or Browns fan…Ok, I will let that slide since U are now a fellow ATR member…

   U have your cast off already ??? Good for U…My conservative Doc wants me in it for another 4 weeks (total of 6)…I may have to take matters into my own hands…Or the cast could simply “fall off accidentally”…

   I found a crutch is a great mutli-purpose tool and very effective as a weapon !!!

   Chilidog61,

   I’m what every good Erie-ite should be: A Steelers Fan. I like the Sabers, though, if that helps.

   I like the cast “fall off accidentally” defense. Let me know how that goes. I think if anything happens during the accidental removal of the cast you may have waived your right to a malpractice suit. I’m just saying… Though your doc may be conservative that way, mine was talking about not getting me out of this &%$# boot for another 2 months. I think some serious negotiations will have to take place before that… or I’ll use my crutches as weapons, as suggested.

   Good luck to you in your healing… What I’m really struck by is that, though hugely divergent approaches are used, we all seem to pretty much end up healing nicely and working hard to get back to our active lives.
