About me……

September 9th, 2010

Living in Normandy, France, I’m normally a hyper-active 41 y/o British mum of three, who barely sits down. I’m now a post-op ATR patient! I’m using this blog help prevent me from going completely stir-crazy & to educate me, after snapping my left achilles tendon on the 30th August 2010 just a few days ago, playing tennis. One of my fave sports; I play all the time: how could this have happened?

Refreshing & encouraging to read other’s experiences & realise I’m not alone, on my crutches, feeling useless & despondent. This IS temporary & one day I WILL walk, run, play tennis, ride my horse, carry things (!), dig my veg garden, plant things, trampoline with my 8 y/o son, vacuum floors & DANCE again!
